The International Relations Office of ESEC (GRI) was created by the Dean's Office of ESEC and functions under its direct guardianship. The International Relations Office's objectives are to coordinate, accompany and support all internationalization iniciatives developed by ESEC, regarding education (specially in cooperation and academic mobility) , I&D (assuming a position of rendering of services to the teacher and student communities, as well as investigation work of an international nature, created or to be created by ESEC's investigation centres. The main functions of the International Relations Office are: a) to conceive and develop the politics of internationalization of ESEC, having in special attention the communitarian programs of cooperation and academic mobility and other other people's programs to the intervention of the European Communities that if disclose of strategically interest for the ESEC; b) Function as an information center, assuring the internal diffusion of the information to the chances of participation in cooperation programs, academic mobility and international interchange, respective lines of financing and procedures of candidacy; c) Coordinate, to follow and to support the presentation of candidacies for financing and the development of cited projects the activities of international nature; to support the elaboration of reports of projects for the entities financiers; d) Establishing contacts, protocols and proposals of cooperation and interchange with institutions and companies, national and foreign; _ give support in the accomplishment of the protocol and of the program that come to be establish; e) To play the role of interlocutor next to the some national and foreign organisms of its scope of share; to effect the linking of the ESEC to the international nets of that it is member; f) Give information, that directly are related with its scope of actuation, concerning the ESEC, conceiving the materials and defining the necessary ways and resources for the international spreading of the ESEC; g) Promoting, to support, to implement, to follow and to evaluate the mobility of students, national and foreign professors and technician, in the scope of communitarian and international programs; h) Articulate with other cabinets, scientific-pedagogical services, centers, scientific, responsible areas of course and agencies of the ESEC the necessary contacts and the contribution to the prosecution of its attributions; i) Articulate with the Team of International Relations of the IPC the contacts, the contribution and the necessary exchange of information to the prosecution of its attributions; j) Elaborate procedures of the service and to guarantee its implementation, following adequate norms of quality; l) Elaborate, under guardianship of the Dean's Advice, the plan of activities and budget of the GRI, as well as the respective annual report of activities.
